I’m twenty-something and I just happened to have a website - it’s named EIRIE (ehr-ee) which is a misspelling of aries but without the s just because. in here, I will showcase what my ability to create can do like--aside from the way the website’s been designed/decorated like there’s no tomorrow (lol)--when I draw, write or whatnot, we’ll get there; you’ll figure me out a bit more.

is this my first time though?
so, around the year 2020, I created a wordpress account so I can turn my thoughts and such into published posts, as well as choosing a theme from the endless choices (like playing dressup or whatever). but as time passed by, I wasn’t satisfied with it anymore, and poof, it’s nowhere to be found.

for sometime in 2023, I made a rentry [a “markdown paste service”] before moving to carrd not long after (then deleting it too). both were simple and easy to use but they’re nowhere near as good as getting the work done with HTML and CSS all over (hardly had any knowledge during that). later on, I thought I should learn to make a website from scratch instead. just like those while exploring neocities where we get to express ourselves freely based on personal preferences/tastes and experiences, and far away from algorithms and other atrocities found on social media these days. I began brainstorming ideas in late 2024 yet still unsure of it all. what really drove me forward just by coming across lrnjulie’s and luvstarkei’s respective videos along the lines of making your own website - it’s that helpful.
